Posting pictures is very easy, but first you have to have them hosted on the internet someplace. One location that is free and works very well is
photobucket.com
Register with them. Follow the simple directions for uploading your pictures from your home PC to their server
Once the photo is on their site you can click on the little tag below the thumbnail that says IMG code. A little yellow flag pops up that says "Copied"
In you posting right click where you want to put the photo. When the meu appears select "paste." Somethng like this appears:
(IMG)http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s201/PeterB26/Bellowstool6.jpg(/IMG)
except that the ()'s are square. The good news is you don't have to pay any attention to this code. Photobucket has taken care of it for you.
When you preview your message you should see the photo appear where the code was in the message.
Hint: it is easier if you open up two copies of internet explorer, one for this site as you are typing your message, and the other for photobucket where your pictures are hosted.
BTW I have been very pleased that Photobucket has not hit me with tons of ads or junk e-mails.
Give it a try and Good luck

Thanks,
It was already converted by Bertram of Miami sometime in the 90's
It had some soft spots in the floor where the in-floor storage lockers held moisture and sweated.
There are 4 of these here in the Charleaton SC area, its really great to have people stop you and want to talk about the boat.
Good luck with your 20. |

| How do you like the Etech 250? I've been thinking of converting my B-20 Bahia mar with an Etech 200. What do you think? Walter |

It has been great so far.
My original thought was to put the small block 200 on it for weight reasons, but the dealer gave me a great deal on the 250 he had on a floor plan.
If you convert, get a high flotation bracket and move the fuel tank as far fwd as possible.
Its really not that big of a deal but my boat just barely drains out the scuppers, so a little more weight shifted fwd would help. |

I really cant compare the difference since I have never been on an inboard, but.. with the setup like i have that is one tough boat.
I would put it up against anything in its size class, or probably several sizes up.
It tracks well at all speeds, didnt really need trim tabs - i added them fora little fine tuning at higher speeds, handles big seas unbelievable, goes in shallow water nicely, has lots of room for friends and family (and neighbors and relatives...).
I couldnt be happier.
The only downside is it puts the rear scuppers just above the waterline and water trickles back in at rest if a couple of people are on the stern - but that happens in some production boats... |
